Economic Empowerment

As an organization of leaders in our communities, we have an obligation to ensure financial literacy and education is available to families, women, and girls.

We have an obligation to ensure financial education is available to our sisters and brothers

To accomplish this goal, NCBW OBAC launched the SisterNomic$ program to collaborate with strategic partners to host financial literacy educational forums, which connects the community to key resources for all the stages of your financial life. Topics include Money Management, Home Ownership, Wealth Planning, Affordable Housing, Investment Strategies, and Access to Capital for entrepreneurs.

Our newest programs are the Entrepreneurship in Residence: Executive Business Mentoring Program, and Pathways to Success with key objectives around enabling teens with Workforce Readiness Skills and introducing them to the principles of entrepreneurship.
