Madam CJ Walker

The Madam C.J. Walker Luncheon and Empowerment Forum serves as our signature fundraiser event that happens in the spring of each year.
We pay homage to Madam C.J. Walker, the first African American self-made millionaire. She was a pioneer in business and the community. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc Oakland Bay Area Chapter honors Madam C.J. Walker’s legacy by recognizing black women in the community for their outstanding accomplishments.
The proceeds from our annual luncheon and empowerment forum enables our chapter to continue to provide programs in our key initiatives of health, education, and economic empowerment. This premier event attracts 850 – 1000 women and men from all over the San Francisco Bay Area.
