Madam C.J. Walker Pioneer Award: Deborah Ale Flint
Ms Flint has been appointed Interim Executive Director for the Port of Oakland in October 2012.Prior to her appointment; Ms Flint served as the 1st African American woman to be appointed as Director of Aviation in April 2010 where she is responsible for the Operation, Management and Business Development of the Oakland International Airport. Ms Flint serves on the Board of Directors of Inner City Advisers and often serves as a panelist for the Transportation Research Board’s Airport Cooperative Research Program and is a member of both the International and California Airports Council.

Madam C.J. Walker Advocacy Award: Gina Wolley
Gina Wolley is one of Bank of the West’s top-ranking executives, a Senior Management Committee member, and a key member of the retail bank’s leadership team with oversight of finance, accounting, operations, risk, compliance, testing, communications and training—a team of 100+ at locations across the Bank of the West footprint. She is a 30-year veteran of the banking industry, starting out at Ernst & Young, and moving from there to Eureka Bank, then Wells Fargo, and in 1997 Bank of the West. She was awarded the title of Executive Vice President in 2003, one of the first women and one of only three African-Americans to earn that distinction at Bank of the West.


Madam C.J. Walker Corporate Award:
Barbara Williams
Ms Williams is the HR Director of Diversity and Inclusion and Diversity. Her accomplishments   are the following: Leader of the   Strategic Initiatives @ Oracle which includes Branding, Leadership Development and Employee Engagement, Managed the compliance responsibilities for over $1.8 Billion in government contracts. She currently serves as Vice Chair and Commissioner for the Alameda County Commission on the Status of Women, Nordstrom Scholarship Committee and the Women of Color Action Network. Ms Williams is a recognized strategist, thoughtful leader and frequent   speaker on leadership engagement on subjects such as Business, Science and Technology.

Madam C.J. Walker Entrepreneur Award: Renae Griffin

Renae Griffin is Founder and CEO of RG & Associates a consultancy focused on strategic marketing, program development and execution of domestic and international meetings and events that facilitate education and business development in the public and private business and finance communities. RG&A manages over 20 forums annually involving hundreds of businesses and thousands of attendees. She has produced conferences in Senegal, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Brazil, South Africa, United Kingdom, France, Vietnam and more.  Additionally, RG & Associates provides advisory services institutional investors, federal, state, and local government agencies, corporations and non-profits seeking to expand or establish relationships with targeted business partners including small, minority and women-owned businesses.  RG & Associates was founded in January 2001 with offices in Oakland, California and New York, New York.

Ms. Griffin brings more than 25 years of professional financial services experience and talent to her firm.  She holds a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco. Ms. Griffin is a registered Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). She is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP), Rotary International, Private Equity Women Investment Network (PE WIN), Council of Urban Professionals and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) organizations.  In 2012, she was presented with the Award of Excellence by the National Association of Investment Companies
